Passkeys make it simple and secure to sign in to https://beachesmls.mysolidearth.com/ with no password needed. They use your device’s built-in security (Face ID, Touch ID, PIN, or Windows Hello) to verify your identity. Once created, your passkey syncs safely through your Apple, Google, or Microsoft account.

What Is a Passkey?
A passkey replaces your traditional password. It is unique to your device and protected by biometrics or a screen lock. Once set up, you can log in with just a tap or scan — no password to remember.
Please Note: If you are setting up on a mobile device, you must have a password or biometrics enabled on your device (Face ID, Fingerprint, Pattern, or a password).
Create a Passkey in Your Solid Earth Account
Follow these simple steps to add your passkey:

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the Solid Earth dashboard.
- Select My Account.
- Scroll down to Manage Passkeys and click the “+” button.
- In the dialog box, select Add Passkey.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup using your device’s authentication method (Face ID, Touch ID, PIN, etc.).

iPhone & iPad (iOS)
- Visit https://beachesmls.mysolidearth.com/ and sign in as usual.
- Follow the steps above to add a passkey.
- When prompted, tap Continue and verify with Face ID or Touch ID.
You can choose either option, but most people choose "Passwords". - You can choose to label the passkey you just created, or you can just click Create!
- When prompted, tap Continue and verify with Face ID or Touch ID.
- Your passkey is automatically stored in iCloud Keychain and syncs across Apple devices.

- Log in to https://beachesmls.mysolidearth.com/.
- Follow the setup steps above.
- When prompted, tap Continue and save the passkey to your Google Password Manager.
- Authenticate using your screen lock (PIN, fingerprint, or pattern).
