As part of the MLS upgrade, many listing fields were updated to align with RESO (Real Estate Standards Organization) data standards. Some field names may appear different than they did previously in Matrix or Flexmls.
Why Field Names Changed
The MLS upgrade introduces standardized field names that match the national RESO data model. This helps MLS vendors, IDX providers, and third-party systems work with MLS data more efficiently.
Because of this change, some familiar field names have been updated, reorganized, or split into multiple fields.
Example: Some fields that previously existed under a single category may now appear in multiple fields that better describe the property data.
